Round robin

A strong fit for smaller fields when everyone should play everyone and the table itself is the main outcome.

Group stage + knockout

Useful when you want preliminary groups first and then semi-finals or a final.

Knockout tournament

Works well when many participants need to move through a clear bracket in limited time.

Swiss system

Suitable when all teams play several rounds and are paired by points after each round, without anyone being eliminated. Colours and Elo are not taken into account.

Round 1: draw and results

Round 2: pairings by standings, draw at the top
From round 2 on, the app sorts by points, goal difference and goals. The highest-placed team without a pairing is matched with the next-ranked opponent it has not yet played; a repeat happens only if no other pairing is possible. Pairings: Rochade-Ritter – Springer-Sterne, Zugzwang-Zebras – Damen-Gambit, Matt-Matrosen – Endspiel-Eulen, Bauern-Bande – Turm-Taktik. Results: Rochade-Ritter 1:1 Springer-Sterne (draw), Zugzwang-Zebras 1:0 Damen-Gambit, Matt-Matrosen 1:0 Endspiel-Eulen, Turm-Taktik 1:0 Bauern-Bande. Afterwards: Zugzwang-Zebras 6 points; Rochade-Ritter, Springer-Sterne and Matt-Matrosen 4 points each with 2:1 goals.

Round 3 and a tie the app cannot resolve
Pairings for round 3: Zugzwang-Zebras – Rochade-Ritter, Springer-Sterne – Matt-Matrosen, Turm-Taktik – Damen-Gambit, Endspiel-Eulen – Bauern-Bande.
