How to run a season from teams to overall standings
Process in season management. Each step corresponds to a feature available in the app.

Create the season
Set name, sport and scoring model: league, points series, ladder or elimination series. The season is the frame for all tournaments.

Create teams once
Maintain teams with rosters in the season. The season tournaments take over these teams.
- 03
Create tournaments or a series
A series creates the tournaments in the chosen rhythm – weekly (up to 52) or monthly (up to 12), with a count or an end date.
- 04
Run tournaments
Roster changes only reach tournaments that have not started yet. A started tournament keeps its roster so that the draw and schedule do not conflict.
- 05
Complete tournaments
Only completed (finalised) tournaments feed into the overall standings. The table grows with each completed tournament.

Share the season
The public season page shows the table and tournaments via a link. Spectators do not need an account. Publishing requires a paid plan.

A public season requires a paid plan. Which one suits you depends on the length of your season and the number of matchdays.

Which scoring fits your season?
All variants use the same season container – only the scoring model differs.
League
Game-based scoring with 3-1-0, goal difference and tiebreakers – the classic for team sports.
Points series
Placement points per event (1st=100, 2nd=80, …) – ideal when events are standalone tournaments.
Ladder
Challenges with position swaps – no fixed schedule, runs continuously.
Elimination series
Several events in which teams are eliminated at each event – the final event decides the title.
Olympics
Several disciplines, one overall ranking as a medal table – for sports days and game nights.

Fictional example. A club holds one cup every month and scores the year as a points series.

Create a season with a points series
Season “Club Cup 2027” with the scoring model points series. Default points: 100 for 1st place, 80 for 2nd place, 65 for 3rd place.

Maintain eight teams once
The teams with rosters are created once in the season. All cups take them over.

Create a series with twelve cups
Monthly series (one-month interval, twelve tournaments). Each of the twelve tournaments counts towards the tournament allowance.

Overall standings after three completed cups
The table only counts completed tournaments. Standings after three cups with points from the default values:

Twelve cups are well below the 70 tournaments of the Annual plan (149 €). If the same series only runs from October to March, the Monthly plan for six months is enough (6 × 19 € = 114 €).

What is a season at Turniermeister?
A season is the organisation layer above your tournaments: manage teams once, create tournaments, live overall standings – with a public season page.
Do I need a subscription for a season?
For a public season, yes: the Annual plan, Monthly plan or 30-day pass unlock the season page, saved teams and sponsors. With a Tournament pack and no subscription you can create a season and run it internally, but not publish it.
Do I need Turniermeister Pro for seasons?
No. Pro is the Annual plan with a larger allowance (150, 200 or 300 tournaments instead of 70) and does not unlock any additional season features.
Can I add Tournament packs to my subscription?
Yes. If your subscription’s allowance is not enough for the season, each further tournament uses one unit from a Tournament pack (10 tournaments for 59 €, 25 for 129 €). Credit never expires.
Does the season itself count as a tournament?
No. Only the tournaments in the season count. A series with twelve matchdays uses twelve tournaments.
What happens if my subscription ends in the middle of the season?
Season, tournaments and results are kept. Public pages are set to private. With a new paid plan you can publish them again, and the previous links work again.
What happens if I change teams after a tournament has started?
The roster of a tournament that has already started is not updated automatically, because the draw and schedule would otherwise conflict. Tournaments of the season that have not started yet adopt the change.
