Run an Eisstock tournament without copying scores between sheets

Where an Eisstock tournament day loses momentum

Stock shooting results need to agree across the live schedule, end scores and overall table. Separate lists make corrections and the next match harder to follow.

Scores move between sheets

End results are written beside the rink, match points are transferred later and the standings are recalculated again by hand.

The next match is unclear

With several lanes, teams and helpers need one reliable view of round, opponent and start time.

A series needs rules before day one

Across several dates, placement points, tiebreak order and treatment of teams not entered in an event need to be decided up front.

One traceable path from schedule to series table

Plan matches across lanes

Teams, rounds, start times and available lanes stay in one tournament.

Enter ends or a total score

The IER 2022 example profile has six ends with up to four stock points per end. Game points are separate: 2 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.

Make the ranking order visible

Tournament standings use game points, stock-point difference and stock points for. If teams meet more than once, the last game decides; a two-team tie after that game is drawn requires a recorded lot.

Separate a league from a series

An Eisstock season can be set up as a league or tournament series. The league combines matches across dates, but for federation play under IER you check the table and tie resolution of the season-wide league against the rulebook yourself. The series adds placement points from completed individual events.

Team names, dates and scores are fictional example data, not a customer story. The match-day table uses the example 2/1/0 profile. The series assumes 100/80/65/50 placement points, event wins before appearances and zero points for non-participation. The ongoing third date is not yet included in the season total. Eisstock tournament questions

How are stock points different from game points?

Stock points come from the ends and are totalled for each match. Game points score the result separately: win 2, draw 1, loss 0. The IER 2022 example profile uses six ends with up to four stock points each; standings sort by game points, stock-point difference and stock points for.

How are repeated head-to-head matches ranked?

For two teams level on the earlier criteria, the last head-to-head game decides. If it is drawn, the organizer can record a lot. Multi-team ties remain unresolved and block finalization.

Can I start the template now?

Yes. Demo users can buy the premium tournament template once for €3.99; active paid subscriptions include it. The premium season variant is included in every active paid subscription, or costs €9.99 once without a subscription. A paid plan or tournament pack is also required to create a season.

Does the template validate team line-ups?

No. It manages teams as tournament participants but does not validate player count or line-up. Set team composition according to the event rules; summer/winter and recreational/federation rules are not distinguished automatically.

Does it cover every federation rule and special case?

No. The example profile references IER 2022 but is not a verified blanket federation approval. Check the current event rules and national supplements. No-show, early withdrawal and seasonal or recreational special rules do not have their own entry and scoring workflow.
