What is Time Trial - Single Run?

When is a single-run format useful?
It works well when time is limited or when the event should focus on one decisive attempt.
Can I still show live results?
Yes. Every recorded time appears immediately in the current ranking.
Which events is this suitable for?
Ideal for compact timed events with exactly one run per participant, such as club races, school events or showcase competitions.
How long does a single-run time trial with 0 participants take?
Because everyone runs only once, this is the fastest variant. With 0 participants the pure running time is around 0 min on 2 lanes and about 0 min on 4 lanes – each excluding start breaks.
What happens after a false start or fall?
There is no second attempt – the run counts as completed. If you want to allow repeats, use best-time or average scoring instead.
