Example: Grand Prix with 24 drivers on three consoles

Fictional planning example, not a customer reference: 24 drivers race the Grand Prix profile (12 races) for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on three Nintendo Switch 2 consoles with the current game update (version 4.0.0 or later allows up to eight local players) and 8 suitable controllers each. On the original Nintendo Switch, local split-screen stays at two to four players, so you would need more consoles. Each console runs its own race; the overall standing includes all 24 drivers. Creating the tournament requires a paid plan or a one-time Demo purchase.

   Setup and lobbies

   Three consoles with 8 controllers each are registered. Each console forms its own local group with 8 fixed drivers. Each round, every console runs a race with places 1 to 8; the points table awards 15, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 and 5 points. The setup allows up to 8 controllers per console.

   Record one round

   After each round you enter the placements 1 to 8 per console in Race Control. Round 1 looks like this:

   Points across twelve rounds

   Turniermeister sums the points across all twelve rounds. Each console awards 72 points per round, so three consoles award 216 points per round and 2,592 points in total. The top of the example standing: Fahrer 18 leads with 126 points and 2 race wins, ahead of Fahrer 01 with 121 points and 3 wins. At 119 points each, Fahrer 21 (4 wins) ranks ahead of Fahrer 09 (2 wins) because race wins decide the tie.

4. 04

   Rough duration

   Twelve rounds with 5 minutes of race time and 2 minutes of break make 84 minutes of pure race and changeover time (12 × 7), because the three consoles run in parallel. Setup, sign-in and the award ceremony come on top; the app does not set a fixed end time.

All driver names, placements and points are a fictional calculation example. You create the actual tournament in the signed-in dashboard; the anonymous Try Wizard remains a preview. The overall standing covers the twelve main rounds. If the Top 4 final is enabled, Race Control creates a separate final afterwards; it is not part of this example.
