In a combined time trial, 4 participants complete several scored runs – 3 rounds are recommended. Unlike best-time scoring, all recorded times are added together: it is not the single perfect run that counts but the lowest total time across all rounds. This rewards consistency rather than one lucky run. As in any time trial, the 4 participants never face each other directly – everyone races against the clock on their own, and the ranking comes from the sum of the recorded times.
Combined scoring differs from the other time-trial variants in that all 3 runs are added together – not the single fastest run, but the lowest total time decides.

How long the combined time trial with 4 participants takes depends on the number of parallel lanes and the run duration. Because every round is scored, the pure running time adds up across several runs – plan extra time for start intervals, timing and breaks.

Yes. The total ranking is recalculated automatically after every run.
It depends on the number of parallel lanes. With 4 participants and 3 scored runs each, the pure running time is around 1 h 30 min on 2 lanes and about 45 min on 4 lanes – each excluding start breaks.
If two participants share the same total time, the fastest single run decides. If that is also equal, the second-fastest run counts.
