The story behind it

I'm Christian. I spent years organizing tournaments with spreadsheets and my own brackets – and kept hitting limitations. Once, a tournament ended early because of errors in the bracket that I noticed too late. One team decided never to come back after that. That hit me the hardest.

A tournament creates emotions – and should be remembered as a great experience, years later. Nobody should ever have to think about which tool was running in the background.

I don't organize tournaments myself anymore – sometimes I miss it. I built Turniermeister for my younger self. I hope it saves others the chaos I went through.

FAQ

Is it free?

Turniermeister is free forever in demo mode – no credit card: one tournament per type, kept private. Public tournament pages come with Premium: 19 €/month, 149 €/year (over 30% cheaper) or a one-time 29 € for 30 days without subscription.

Which sports?

All of them. Turniermeister is sport-agnostic and works for football, tennis, table tennis, darts, padel, volleyball, chess, card games, esports and any other sport. The 14+ tournament modes (group stage + knockout, Swiss system, league, double elimination, time trial and more) adapt to any format.

Where is my data stored?

Your tournament data is stored on our own server in Germany and transmitted securely via HTTPS/TLS. For authentication and payments we use EU-compliant third-party providers (Clerk, Mollie). Turniermeister is fully GDPR-compliant.

Can multiple people enter results?

Yes. With helper access, co-organizers can enter results without full access to tournament management. With Premium you get unlimited co-organizers per tournament.

How do participants see results?

Participants open a shared link or scan a QR code. Results, brackets and standings are displayed live on their phone – no app download, no registration required.

Is there a contract?

No. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically but can be cancelled at any time. The one-time purchase has no subscription and does not renew. You stay in full control of your costs.

What is the one-time purchase?

With the one-time purchase you get full Premium access for 30 days – no subscription, no auto-renewal. Perfect if you only need to upgrade for a single event.

Can I switch from another tool?

Yes. Contact us via the contact form and we'll help you migrate. Participant lists can be imported.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, EPS, SEPA bank transfer, SEPA direct debit and bank transfer. All payments are processed securely via Mollie.

What happens when my plan expires?

Your tournaments and data are kept safe – you won't lose any progress. Without active Premium you continue in demo mode: one tournament per type stays active, but public tournament pages are disabled. You can subscribe to Premium again or make a one-time purchase at any time and pick up right where you left off.
